Learning Report 2

This is the SECOND Learning Report from the frist few weeks of class. I will be discussing in ways that you can make your website profitable. In other words make money. My purposes of wanting to find a way to make money on my website is not so I can make a huge profit and become one of the richest men in the world but to pay for the hosting and domain name of this website. Most websites the main purpose of them is to make money. But what if you have a website that is an information based website. How do you make money without charging a subscription, taking donations, or if your just wanting to fork out a lot of money and time to relay information to the whole world. Well this will tell you how I found a way that everyone can earn a little bit of money just by building a website.

What I learned

I have learned that Google Adsense is one of the best, easiest, helpful, and I consider the best companies out there that provide a way to make money on your website. It really helps you go step by step in creating a banner or other size adverstisement size of your choice and giving you the code to put it in your webpage. There is ton of information and a ton of step by step instructions that Google provides that helps you make the most money possible by placing the advertisement on your website. This goes along with Google Analyitics but that is another learning report.

Implementation

As you can see below I have added google adsense to my website. This is a code given to you by Google that you just put into your html. The advertisement then shows up and now when people click on it, Google will track it and then pay you. You have access to a a dashboard and a report that will tell you how many people clicked on it, how much money you have made and how successful it is to have my advertisement is to be in that location. If you would like to see my code, right click any where on this page and click view code (or something similar) and then go towards that bottom and you will see a script incert which is my google adsense advertisment.
